Along Weygand Street, the commemorative plaza for the late journalist and MP was officially inaugurated in December 2011. It includes a monument and quotes from his articles carved into the granite and backlit, together with a black monolith.

The paving sizes, 15, 9 and 57 cm, represent the date of the late journalist’s birthday, 15/9/1957. Olive and quercus trees symbolize peace and deep rootedness, while thyme represents the scent of the Lebanese wilderness loved by Tueiny.
